The three points stay at home: Arenas de Getxo 2-1 Tropezón

El Tropezón could not beat Arenas de Getxo, who won 2-1 during the match held this Sunday at the Municipal de Gobela. Arenas de Getxo came to the meeting with strengthened spirits after achieving a 1-3 victory against Izarra. For their part, Tropezón was defeated 3-4 in the last game they played against San Juan DKE. With this defeat, the Tango team was placed in sixteenth position after the end of the match, while Arenas de Getxo is eighth.

The first half of the game started in a positive way for the Guechotra team, who opened the scoring with a goal from Izeta in the 9th minute. But later the tango team reacted in the contest by putting it 1-1 by means of a goal from the point from a penalty by Juan Fresno in the 15th minute. However, Arenas de Getxo took the lead thanks to a new goal from Izeta, who thus completed a double just before the final whistle, specifically in minute 44, concluding the first part with a 2-1 in the light.

Neither team managed to score in the second half, so the match ended with a score of 2-1.

The referee cautioned Murua, Ibargoien and Gorka Estrada by Arenas de Getxo and Cote and Juan Fresno by the Tango team with a yellow card.

With this result, Arenas de Getxo is left with 16 points and Tropezón with six points.

On the following day, Iban Fagoaga’s team will face Laredo, while José Gómez’s Tropezón will be measured against Burgos Promesas.
