Pope Francis receives Tenerife on the occasion of its Centenary

A commission of directors of CD Tenerife headed by Miguel Concepcionpresident of the club, attended this Wednesday the general audience of the Pope Francis in Vatican Citywhere they shared a brief meeting with His Holiness on the occasion of the team’s centenary celebration.

Concepción delivered to the pope a Tenerife jersey with the number 10 and the name ‘Francisco’ on the back, a special centenary book, a pennant and a club scarf.
